Big Sky, MT – Girls Trip 2023
My mom, sisters, and I recently returned from our annual girls trip! You can see previous years here and here 🙂
Where we flew:
We flew into Bozeman, MT and then took Uber from airport to Big Sky. Uber ride was a little over an hour from airport to our resort.
Where we stayed:
We stayed at The Montage Resort. The atmosphere was mountain luxury and the perfect setting for our relaxing escape. The resort is about 10 minutes from the Big Sky Town Center where most of the restaurants and shopping are and there is a complimentary car service to take you to and from. The resort was beautiful and offered many fun daily activities like archery, guided hikes, and s’mores. I found the concierge great to work with to assist in booking our other experiences.
Where we ate:
Block 3 – steakhouse with pretty bar to have drinks at before.
Olive B’s – cute bistro with cozy atmosphere – I recommend the bolognese!
The Waypoint – pop in for drinks – cute upstairs bar.
Cortina – dinner or breakfast spot – we ate breakfast here and loved the fresh menu items.
The Riverhouse – fun bbq place with great atmosphere.
Things we did:
Spa at Montage – we had amazing massages here and enjoyed the beautiful facilities.
Shopping – while there is not a ton of shopping in Big Sky, we managed to find some cute places to shop in Town Center as well as the boutiques at our resort.
Horseback Riding – our concierge helped us book with Jake’s Horses. We loved riding our horses while getting a tour of the beautiful scenerey.
Cooking Class – we hired a local chef to give us a cooking class where we made a yummy dinner and enjoyed wine while getting some tips from a pro.
Yellowstone Tour – our concierge recommended a guided tour through Yellowstone. This was our favorite activity of the trip! Our guide was so good and the scenery and wildlife is just so incredible. We had our hotel pack us a picnic and enjoyed it riverside – a once in a lifetime experience! Ask for Joe, he was an amazing guide!
What we packed:
My new line with Splendid launched just before our trip, so we all packed plenty of items from the collection. The neutral, cozy items lended themselves to being dressed up or down depending on our activity.
