— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. Besides modeling, I’m also a singer, and I used to be part of a choir for seven years. That gave me the opportunity to experience my first trips inside my country and outside. After that, I joined a Cuban group also as a singer.
2. There was a time in my life when I worked singing on buses. It was an experience that taught me a lot! I really enjoyed seeing how people were on their way to their boring jobs, and after they heard and saw my performance, their attitude was different. They looked happy and grateful for having a special show like mine. That makes me notice how good I am when it comes to people skills through my music.
3. Last but not least: I would like to talk about my people skills. I love how humans can communicate and empathize with each other. I love to get to know others and do it with humor and good vibes always. People around me know they can be genuine with me.
— Who is someone you admire and why?
More than admiration, I have a deep gratitude for Sadhguru. His path, enlightenment, and teachings have made significant changes in my life.
— What are you super interested in that most people have never heard of?
I’m very interested in the expansion of consciousness in all directions: mental health, psychology, education and child-rearing, mindfulness, the search for being through yoga, ancient teachings, and indigenous spiritual medicine.

— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
I used to work as a doorman for clubs and bars, where I was sexually assaulted by drunk women many times on their nights out. Many people overlook consent when they perceive someone to be strong or in a position of authority, particularly when intoxicated. Treat everyone with kindness and respect.
— If you could talk to your younger self, what advice would you give?
When people hate, it comes from inside them and not from you. Some people build themselves by tearing others down. Avoid those people.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I’m a grade 8 saxophone player.
2. I’m half Indian.
3. I’ve got a bachelor’s degree in economics.

I admire my mother because she continues to push me to be the best version of myself and she taught me the lesson to keep my head up and continue striving.

I was in a foster home for 4 1⁄2 years until my mother was able to get back on her feet and reunite us.
— If you could talk to your younger self, what advice would you give?
The advice I would give to my younger self would be to always keep moving forward even if the circumstances aren’t ideal, and keep God first.

— How did you become a model?
When I was 15 years old, I got scouted by my mother agency, but I said no because I thought it was a joke. Then, when I was sixteen, my mother agency texted me again, and I was like, ‘Okay, right now, I need to try.’ So I shoot my shot, and here I am, almost 19 years old and a full-time model.
— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
I used to do so many sports as a kid, such as gymnastics, tennis, ballroom dancing, and also roller skating. But I have never tried any sports that may be associated with my height – no volleyball or basketball. Also, I’ve done pole dancing for 3 years, and I love this sport.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I love maths.
2. I’m a really extroverted person, and I love being around people.
3. I’m interested in true crime stories, and for my whole life, I’ve wanted to be an FBI agent.
