5 Easy & Healthy Fruit Smoothie Recipes
Easy Fruit Smoothie Recipes
What is it about seeing a beautiful smoothie that makes us want to run to the store to buy lots of fruits to give it a try and make our own fruit smoothie. I LOVE smoothies but I don’t always like going to the trouble of making them so I usually opt for easy fruit smoothie recipes.
I consider fruit smoothies that only have a few ingredients easy, cut up a few fruits put it in the freezer and they are ready to go. The most difficult fruit smoothie recipe I’ve shared below is the dragon fruit smoothie, this one has more than three ingredients but I promise you it is delicious and that color is beautiful!
For all of these fruit smoothie recipes, you’ll want to freeze your fruit before blending it so you don’t have to use ice. So once you have all your fruit cut it into little pieces and put it in individual Ziploc bags for the freezer. Or you could also measure each of the ingredients and put those into a Ziploc bag so all you have to do is put the contents of that Ziploc bag into the blender and add the coconut milk.
Another thing to keep in mind for these fruit smoothie recipes I used coconut milk as the liquid base. You can swap it for coconut water, almond milk or just plain water, it depending on what you prefer.
Depending on the type of liquid you use of course the fruit smoothies will have different taste and look. Using coconut water and water as the liquid base will give a very light feel, like having sorbet versus ice cream.
Some people prefer almond milk over coconut milk so just select the one you like more and us that. I use coconut milk for two reasons; I love coconut and I was in Bali when I made these fruit smoothies so coconut was readily available.
5 Fruit Smoothie Recipes
For all of the following fruit smoothie recipes I did the following things:
- Used fresh fruit
- Cut the fruit into small pieces
- Froze all the fruit (including the spinach)
- Used coconut milk
- Used a powerful blender
In this instance, I used a Vitamix but I’ve also made them using The Magic Bullet Blender. As long as it does a good job blending frozen fruit so it doesn’t leave chunks of fruit you’re good.
That’s pretty much it, there is not much to it, below are the list of ingredients for the 5 easy & healthy fruit smoothie recipes!

Healthy Living in Bali
While in Bali I got the opportunity to eat a lot of fruit. This was for two main reasons, tropical fruit is in abundance and it’s cheap, and we stayed in a villa where there was always fresh fruit available.
In Bali it’s not difficult to have your one fruit serving per day, to be honest, we had a ton of fruit servings in Bali. As you can see in the photo below, we had lots of fruit within hands reach. During our time in Bali, we had the opportunity to make these recipes so I can share them with you! If you would like more of this type of content just leave me a comment below!
