Before heading out for the day take some time to make a list of the wineries you want to visit on the trail. The trail starts at Napa and ends in Calistoga. It’s a long drive, and you won’t be able to visit all the wineries you want in one day so make sure to be realistic in the number of stops you would like to make.The spa at Milliken Creek is also a must to take your relaxation to a new level. From the room I changed into the robe and slippers provided and walked over to the spa. After your spa treatment, they give you a glass of champagne and chocolate.For turndown service, they leave chocolates on the pillow and turn on romantic music. For each
of the nights we stayed at Milliken Creek Inn we arrived after turndown service so it was nice to come back to.This intimate Napa Valley Inn only has 12 luxurious rooms so if it’s a retreat you’re looking for this is the perfect place.

If this Napa Valley Inn wasn’t romantic enough on the last day of our stay, we arrived at a room that was filled with roses and rose petals. If you’re looking for the perfect romantic getaway in Napa Valley, Milliken Creek Inn and Spa is it.The room we stayed in had a private patio that overlooked the Napa River and inner gardens. It also had a fireplace, stand-alone spa hydrotherapy bathtub, luscious robes, L’Occitane products and complimentary breakfast. Yes! They offer complimentary breakfast each night you stay and you can have it anywhere on the property.

At the end of your long day of exploring wine country, you can relax with a port in the main house. The room keys you receive also open the main house, so you’re free to go in when you want to enjoy a port or a cookie.Website
