Cold weather coupled with lockdown doesn’t really help with exercise motivation. If you’re currently in lockdown in Australia, your incentive to get moving might be feeling pretty low, which is super understandable. If you’re in need of a little boost in this area, we might just have the answer.
Exercise inspiration can often increase when you’re working towards a goal. It might be to run a particular number of kilometres, lift a certain amount of weight or move up a difficulty level in your exercise classes. For many, a special event like a wedding can also prompt people to throw themselves into fitness.
To help with your lack of get-up-and-go, Fluidform Pilates has created a six-week challenge to encourage you to get moving thanks to the inclusion of an epic prize. Of those who complete the challenge, three winners will be chosen for their dedication and win $5,000 each. So good!
Called Fluidform Your Body, this challenge will be run online via Fluidfluid at Home — an online Pilates platform created by founder Kirsten King. This renowned Pilates method is infused within the challenge, asking participants to move their bodies for just 20-minutes a day, five days a week for a period of six weeks.
“Fluidform Your Body will activate through a Transformational Challenge, comprising three mini-series that will challenge the entire self, testing your physical and mental strength,” the platform promises. This series includes a boxing workout as well as exercises designed to target your legs, butt, hips and abs.
Participants will be encouraged to share their journey from start to finish, with visual check-ins as well as the completion of Fluidform at Home workouts five days per week, over six weeks. During this time, those competing in the challenge will also receive dedicated and specialised support from the Fluidform team.
Available to Fluidform at Home members around the world, registration for the Fluidform Your Body challenge ends at midnight on Sunday, July 25. Consider using this as an opportunity to reinvigorate your relationship with exercise, all the while increasing your chances of winning $5,000.
