You should be drinking two to three litres of water each day, given that your body is made up of 45 to 75 percent water, it plays a hugely important role in your heart health, physical performance and brain function.
Increasing the amount of water you drink can offer a whole host of health benefits, and while there isn’t an official amount of h2O that you should be consuming every day, here is what happens to your body when you drink three litres of water every single day.
It supports your overall health
Staying hydrated helps keep your body running smoothly and according to Healthline, is needed to complete a number of bodily processes. Water helps to regulate your body temperature, as well as transporting nutrients through your body, maintaining brain function and physical performance.
